THEORY OF THE EYE
Theory of the Eye examines the act of seeing. The photograph opens onto a vast landscape, holding the viewer inside its stillness. The glass frame catches their reflection, pulling them into the image and distancing them from it at once. That tension is intentional, a reminder that every gaze is already a step removed from the moment it seeks.
This analogue print was created in collaboration with Peter Svenson, whose passing has since made the work something beyond the collectible.
