I WISH I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU

Duration: 02’58” (Loop)

Léa Giordano’s project for Périscope transforms seeing into an intimate, almost secret act. Through a narrow frame, viewers encounter moving close-ups of gestures, textures, and fleeting presences, gradually unfolding into a reflection on perception and the invisible.

Inspired by cinema’s hidden mechanisms, the work turns looking into sensorial experience, where movement conveys emotion beyond narrative. Concealing and revealing at once, périscope invites slow observation and quiet wonder, blurring the line between image and imagination.
